DESCRIPTION:Long-time NPC member and artist Carol Morgan presents her photo collection and essay, about an innovative urban agriculture project in her neighborhood, at the next Photo Team meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 12:00 to 2:00 pm, in the Cosgrove Lounge.Carol recently published the photo array and commentary, called "Moments of Life in a Dead City," about Columbia Heights Green, an initiative that turned a blighted abandoned property into a working farm growing organic produce for local customers, including families in need. She will present the photos and discuss how the collection and essay came about. And we're inviting people who operate Columbia Heights Green to tell us more about their project.The Photo Team meets at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, Feb. 20, starting with a self-funded lunch from the Reliable Source. Carol's talk begins at 1:00 pm, which will be made available in a Zoom webinar, also beginning at 1:00 pm. The meeting is open to all NPC members, but RSVPs for in-person and remote participants are required.
